About Michael

A Delaware lawyer for Delaware families.

Michael represents people whose lives have been disrupted by serious injuries — when you have just experienced the worst day of your life, he is here to help put the pieces back together.

My approach

Direct answers. Personal attention. No runaround.

After a serious injury, the last thing you need is a case handed to a case manager you never met. When you call my cell phone, you reach me -- no one else. I take the time to understand what happened, explain your options, and assist in every decision from our first conversation to the final resolution or your case.

My practice is focused on the injuries that change lives. I prepare every claim as if it will be tried to a jury, because that preparation is what gets insurance companies to take your case seriously. If an insurance company knows an attorney is just going to settle a case then they are only going to offer a low amount. I work tirelessly to ensure that my clients get the most amount of money as quickly as possible. That is what they expect of me and that is what I provide.

While I practice from our Wilmington office at McCann Dillon Jaffe & Lamb, LLC, I represent injured Delawareans across the First State and regularly meet with clients from Claymont to Fenwick Island. There is no area of Delaware I do not cover, nor is there any area where I am not able to meet a client -- usually same day.

Why I do this work

To me, personal injury is personal.

I did not come to this work by accident. My family has lived through exactly what my clients are living through now:

  • My great-grandmother was crushed in an industrial transportation accident.
  • My great-grandfather died in an industrial smelting accident.
  • My grandfather was permanently disabled by a car accident.

I grew up hearing what those injuries did to a family: the lost paychecks, the medical bills, the people who were never quite the same. When you call me after a crash or a work injury, I understand what is at stake for you and the people who depend on you, because my family has been there.

Delaware roots

Local knowledge that works for you.

Delaware injuries are only handled in Delaware courts, before Delaware juries, and under Delaware law. Knowing the local courts, the local medical providers, and the insurers who write policies here is a real advantage — and it is one I put to work on every file.

While an out of state attorney may think they can handle your case, they will likely not know the nuance of cases regularly handled here.

Additionally, only a Delaware attorney can file a Delaware lawsuit. If you have an out of state attorney, they will not be able to file a lawsuit for your Delaware case and the insurance companies know this, which leads to low settlement offers.

Same goes for work injuries, if you need to file a petition before the Delaware Industrial Accident Board, then only a Delaware attorney like myself can do that for you.

A closer look

Personal attention, from the first conversation.

Will I speak directly with Michael?

Call Michael P. Minuti directly at 302-290-4646. You can also submit the consultation form to request follow-up. The AI chat offers general information; chat messages alone are not a submitted consultation request.

What should I have ready?

Start with the date and location of the injury, your treatment so far, and any incident reports or insurer letters. You do not need a complete file before calling. Avoid sending sensitive medical records or detailed confidential information through the initial form.

Does the evaluation cost anything?

The initial case evaluation is free. No attorney fee is due unless money is recovered. Expenses and representation terms are addressed in the written agreement. A conversation or form submission does not itself create an attorney-client relationship, and no outcome can be guaranteed.

Stay connected

Michael. Beyond the case.
