This notice from Michael P. Minuti explains consultation requests, the AI chat assistant and visitor information on this website. Please contact Michael with questions about information you provide.
What I collect.
Consultation forms. When you submit a consultation request — on the homepage, the Contact page, the Free Case Evaluation page, the Spanish page or a location page — I receive the information you provide: typically your name, phone number, email address, the type of case, and anything you choose to write about your situation.
The AI chat assistant. Chat messages are sent to an AI service to generate replies and saved in your browser so the conversation can continue between pages. Chat is not a submitted consultation request or a message sent directly to Michael. Do not provide confidential details, medical records or identification numbers in chat.
Visitor information. Loading this website involves requests to website hosting and media services. Those services may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser information and requested resource. Embedded Google Maps and links to external services have their own privacy practices.
How your information is used.
Consultation forms request information for reviewing your inquiry and contacting you about it. Submitting a form or speaking with the chat assistant does not create an attorney-client relationship. Please keep your initial description brief and avoid confidential details until you have spoken with Michael.
Where it goes.
Consultation requests are saved in this website's consultation records. The notification system attempts an email alert to Michael's designated office email after saving the request; an email delivery problem does not undo the saved request. Website hosting, storage, email and AI services are involved in operating the respective features. For urgent matters, call Michael rather than relying on a form or chat reply.
Cookies and tracking.
The chat uses local browser storage for conversation history and session storage to remember when you close it. Use the chat's clear control to reset its saved conversation, or clear this site's data through your browser settings. Third-party content, including embedded maps, may use cookies or similar technologies under that provider's policies. See Google's Privacy Policy.
How long information is kept.
This notice does not promise a fixed deletion schedule. Contact Michael to ask about an inquiry's status or request access, correction or deletion of information you submitted. Any request requires individual review, including applicable professional and legal obligations.
