A denial letter is a starting point, not a complete coverage analysis
After a Delaware crash, separate who caused the collision from which insurance may pay which losses. A denial may concern eligibility, a policy exclusion, medical documentation or the amount of available coverage. Ask for the explanation in writing and preserve the policy, declarations page, endorsements and correspondence.
Michael P. Minuti can review those records with the crash evidence. Bring the accident date, the vehicle you occupied, where it was registered and insured, and any approaching deadline. You do not need to decide which insurer is responsible before requesting a free evaluation.

Denied PIP medical bills: identify the expense and the reason
Delaware PIP under 21 Del. C. § 2118 addresses specified accident-related medical expenses and earnings losses. A PIP dispute is different from a settlement of a claim against a negligent driver. Preserve each bill, its service date, submission records and the insurer's written payment or denial explanation.
A Delaware PIP lawyer reviewing denied medical bills needs to know what the provider requested and what the insurer refused. Payment of an earlier bill does not establish that every later service is covered. Keep wage records and medical work restrictions when lost earnings are also disputed.

Uninsured motorist coverage denial: review the actual policy
When the responsible driver has no insurance, uninsured motorist coverage may warrant review under 18 Del. C. § 3902. The applicable policy, insured status, coverage selection and circumstances of the collision matter. Do not assume that an uninsured driver means there can be no injury claim, or that every available household policy automatically covers you.
For a Delaware uninsured motorist coverage denial, bring the written denial, policy and information about the other driver's insurance investigation. A coverage dispute and proving the other driver's negligence are separate issues; both need evidence.

Underinsured motorist settlement review: do not sign first
A driver may have insurance that is inadequate for the supported losses. Underinsured motorist coverage requires a separate policy and statutory review; it is not simply the difference between your bills and an initial settlement offer. Identify all relevant policies and obtain advice before resolving the claim against the other driver.
A Delaware underinsured motorist settlement review should consider the proposed release, payments, available limits and any policy procedures affecting another claim. Signing a release before that review may affect rights you intended to preserve. No particular coverage or recovery is promised.

Pedestrian hit-and-run claims: preserve identification evidence
An injured pedestrian may need medical assistance before anyone identifies the fleeing vehicle. Report the collision, preserve the police report number and witness contacts, and save original camera or dashcam footage when lawfully available. Do not enter traffic or pursue a fleeing driver to collect evidence.
A Delaware pedestrian hit-and-run lawyer must evaluate identification evidence, potentially applicable PIP and uninsured motorist policies, and policy-specific requirements. An unknown driver is not the same coverage situation as an identified uninsured driver. Coverage should not be assumed merely because a vehicle left the scene.

Injured passengers: tell the attorney about every vehicle and policy
A passenger's injury can involve the driver of the occupied car, another driver or disputed fault between them. Identify your relationship to the driver, the vehicle and insurance information, and whether the journey involved work or a rideshare app. Those facts may affect the coverage review.
For a Delaware car accident passenger consultation, bring the collision information, treatment records, bills and insurer correspondence you already have. Michael reviews the possible claim paths without requiring you to choose a driver or insurer first. Insurance negotiations do not automatically protect a lawsuit deadline.
